The Creative Hive is a collaborative space for teens and adults alike to engage in creative projects and hands-on activities, as well as access tools and other resources.

The Genealogy area within the Creative Hive will allow patrons to convert their physical photos, documents, VHS tapes into digital files.  The library has an Epsonscanner that will allow patrons to scan negatives, film strips, slides and large documents.  Patrons can save these digital files on a flash drive, send them to DropBox or Google Drive.

The Creative Hive will be a hive of crafting activities!!  We will be using this space for some our our library programs, so keep a look out in our monthly newsletter or our Library Calendar of Events. 

  • Monthly Anytime Crafts- each month we will have a new craft that patrons can learn and create with some simple directions and supplies included!

Future Classes will include but not limited to:

  • Punch Hooking Class
  • Sewing Projector Class
  • Fiber Arts Class

The equipment in the Fabrication area within the Creative Hive will provide the equipment and tools to explore, learn and make. Our goal is to provide access to these tools and knowledge, enabling individuals to make and innovate using technology.
