• Hotspots, Laptop kits and other Library of Things items are only available to Curtis Library cardholders.

• Borrowers’ library card must be in good standing (no billed items).

• Kit can be renewed up to 2 times, if there are no holds for other library patrons.

Do have a device (tablet, laptop), but need internet access? A WiFi hotspot is a small, portable device that uses cellular networks to provide a WiFi signal.

You can now borrow a WiFi hotspot for 3 weeks!

Borrow a Laptop and a WiFi Hotspot

Do you need internet access and a laptop? A WiFi hotspot is a small, portable device that uses cellular networks to provide a WiFi signal. A Chromebook is a laptop that uses the (Google) Chrome browser and does not contain programs and file storage, like a traditional (Windows or Apple) laptop. You can use a Chromebook to visit websites, use your email, watch videos on sites like YouTube, and access any cloud storage you might have, such as Google Drive. If you have a streaming account (Netflix, Hulu, etc.) you can access those, too.

You can now borrow a Chromebook laptop and a Verizon WiFi hotspot for 7 days!
