We’re STEAMing into summer with kits for making and doing projects at home. Each kit comes with supplies and directions for a fun science experiment or art project. If other supplies are needed, we’ll let you know ahead of time.
This week’s project is catapults! Build your own catapult and explore the physics of trajectory. Everything you need is in the bag.
No need to reserve a kit ahead of time. Starting June 16, come anytime from 9:30 – 6:00 on Tuesdays or Thursdays (the T-days) to pick up your kit.
Give us a call when you arrive at the pickup area outside the Middle Street entry at 725-5242 (or call from home to let us know that you’re on your way. Each kit will make one project. Please let us how many children you need kits for.
We will bring the kit(s) out and will put it/them on a table in the pickup area. You are all set to take your items – please practice social distancing while in the pickup area!
We’ll offer a new kit each week during the Summer Reading Program. The same kit will be available on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The themed kit of the week will be available while supplies last. Mystery themed kits may be substituted.
Kits are geared towards an elementary school aged audience.
